You determine the best time and number of lessons for you, but in order to acquire a foundational grasp of starting horsemanship or to refresh your memory on what you already know, we advise taking at least five lessons or a monthly lessons.

Come prepared to learn more—lessons cover more than just riding and encompass whole horsemanship. Along with learning how to ride properly, you will also learn about safety, feeding, grooming, and how to take good care of your own horse as well as how to maintain your tack and equipment.

We can certainly teach you the right ways to take care of your horse if you like to bring your own.

Must dress in jeans and boots (12 under; wear a riding helmet, NOT biking helmet). Riding helmets are optional for those 13 and older. You must be 6 years old enough to ride and with a 230 lb weight restriction. Please bring water, gatorade, etc. as well. You won't be able to ride if you don't abide by the rules.

If your under age 17 please bring your Guardian to sign paper work on the first day.
